Think you should go change it. Its not very expensive . Just need to rem not to touch the film with anything at all. Its really a very sensitive piece of film. Just use blower will do.

try shooting where there's a bright light within the frame or the sun at the corner of your frame see if you have the flare somewhere where you thought the scratch would be. But I think it's not that expenssive to replace since under warranty labor should be free

okok i will try again..Thanks alot guys.u all are the best! :)

A77 is a good camera, today i went down to Sony style and try it. Love the body frame, because it fit my hand.
The 16-50 f2.8 lens is not bad, no wonder so many people want to buy it. But i didn't have a chance to try it at low light condition.

Brought the A77 and 1650 to Marina Barrage over the weekend with my kids.

EVF:
- Although even in manual mode with brightest level, it's still quite dim when used in very bright outdoor condition, although this is not much of issue to me.
- As it has live histogram, I can immediately see what i am going to get even before shooting, so when I shoot, I dun have to re-shoot many times to trial and error. Of course can always shoot RAW and adjust later, but as I am out just for family event and will shoot a lot of photos, I normally shoot JPEGs so that I dun have to spend too much time editing hundreds of photos later.
- With the EVF, I can view the photos I have taken as viewing the LCD under bright sunlight is very challenging. I saw many Canikon users there trying to peep through their LCD to see their shots taken and keep shooting and seeing to get the exposure right.
- I can take VIDEOs using the EVF!!! thats something cannot be done in any DSLRs at the moment.

AF:
- One word, FAST and accurate. I get about 99% correctly focused shots. With AFC and 12fps, I got all the shots of my kids running about.

Colours:
- In vibrant and portrait mode, I got many photos that are nice and correctly exposed (although need to dial +0.3EV most of time). Colors are vibrant and nice. I didn't really need to do any PP for immediate post.

That's about all now. Next purchase VG... :p

welcome bro =)

My EVF seems to be ok both indoor and outdoor I tend to use EVF most of the time than LCD as I find it much better to use as I could see clearly than LCd specially in bright day. I have not tried adjusting the EVF brightness since I got it to me it was just nice so I didnt borther to find the control for it.

Yeah love the AF of this cam it's very fast =) exposure is a bit off need your EV to be at +0.3 of +0.7, Most of the time now I take the JPEG OOC and use them as the photos came out just nice color and exposure =)
