This jpeg problem on pre-production A77 only visible at >ISO1600 rite?
as long as there's enough light, we dun go to higher ISO, this prob should not b obvious and be totally avoided?
I came frn nex5, so i dun really understand y shooting in jpg using A77 is under utilizing the camera?
No matter the camera, raw is the better choice as it gives you more options during editing.
But raw takes much longer more time to edit and there's a learning curve to it.
Without experience in raw editing, the jpg may actually look better.
Still, in the long run. Learning raw is the way to go, provided you got the time to process it.

Yes.. this lens sets the new standard of impressive lens with affordable price !
Build quality looks really good but how do u define "affordable"? I tink this lens on its own will be at least $800 - not exactly affordable though must be said not expensive either.

War wonderful things besides fast af, silence and lens profiling by a77?Not to mention that the new Sonys SLTs will do wonderful things with that lens which they can't with the Tammys.
