3) Forming of an Alpha/KM committee that will be made up of hobbyists to better connect the user community with SONY. This will be an informal thingy. We will definitely then be able to request for support from SONY and get SONY to endorse our activities. We can also design our own logo (without the clubsnap logo but cant use the 'alpha' logo either)

One suggestion to this is perhaps we can appoint 'leaders' who can be in charge of the various fields of photography such as macro, landscape/street, portraitures/studio etc.

Any bros wanna come forward and be part of this pioneer committee? The names of this committee have to be submitted to SONY by 29 Aug.

I believe SONY will also be able to provide this committee with lotsa of benefits for being the 'voice' of the user community…

Brandon, i'm very disappointed in the way you conduct yourself in CS.

I didn't know that you are working for Sony, or either that, working for your own benefits at the expense of the members of CS. If you have not notice, this is already a group of members that are made up of Konica Minolta & Sony enthusiast.

Bro, I don't really think this is a big deal, we didn't really lose anything, and I didn't really see him actively doing promotion/advertising for Sony, and both side to gain some through the activities. Is good to have someone from "inside" also, so we can feedback and get more involve with the camera manufacturer.

I agreed with zcf comments as I think both CS and SONY can work together for the benefit of A-mount users..

Brandon has been helping us to link the KM/SONY CS group to SONY Singapore and now we just need to organize ourselves to allow SONY to come in and "sponsor" us on the photography activities.. sounds good.

Well, most of you would be having the mindset of every man for himself.

But look around... there is more than 50 Sony bros here, only those 50 who sign up for the tee gets the email...

I'm not saying i am saint, but if there is anything good, why not share with bros here, we started from here, we should share together. I could jolly well zip up, enjoy being in the 50, but why am i destroying my relationship with Sony?

If have any sony outing, or whatsoever, i can always sticky it, everybody benefit, why should we suddenly become another group all of a sudden?

They could have just come here and officially say they are from Sony, its not like they from Sony they cannot come... we see Nikon, Olympus, Canon reps here as well, just rather low profile...

I'm all for benefits for all bros, not just selected few...

And i don't deny, those who work for their benefit should be rewarded, like those who work close with Sony to give macro, studio advice etc...

in additonal to the shirt they did gave a us a free jacket back then...and the purpose of the last gathering at sbg there was a speech gaven by Canice and wilson they dun want just to gave us the shirt and then send us back home. instead they are show their acknowlegment of our small a-mount community and on top of it...we had a hand on experience with the sony CZ and G lens .....all this at their own expense and much to our surprise
Sony is a giant, they dun need our money that badly since not much of us can really afford the current prices:bsmilie:

Sony is probably looking for avenues to take care of loyal supporters of A-mount. This seemed evident with the recent happenings.

Since Brandon was the initiator for the polo-T, I think it makes sense that they will want to continue to build and establish this "bridge".
