yeah I'm also interested and looking for some 3rd party shutter release wireless remote control.... Any bros out there has some recommendation Brands and shop?

I'm using the Aputure Trigmaster as a wireless shutter ...will come in useful later, should I decide to start studio shooting  : http://www.artworkfoto.com/wireless_flash_trigger.html

@ bro gongong and stanycjw nice photos do post more

nice where these photo taken???

The first set is at Sengoku-Kogen in Hakone area near Tokyo.
The second set is at Shirakawa-go in the Hida-Takayama area (a Unesco Heritage site)

Its an amazing sight but Am still learning how to compose and work around the lighting.
The weather very challenging.
from the first set, you can see the large cloud causing dark patches on the ground/background.

Sorry to 'hijack' this thread, but I want to ask some questions for Sony A33 & A55 users and dunno where else to ask this: I'm considering getting a A33 or A55 and pairing it with the Zeiss 16-80mm F3.5-5.6 lens and the Sony 50mm F1.8 lens. I had initially wanted the Zeiss 16-35mm f2.8 but changed my mind after seeing how huge and heavy the lens was.

I tried out the A33 at a camera shop recently and I'm quite impressed with the viewfinder and the performance of the 16-55mm kit lens. So I'm wondering if it is worth it to get the Zeiss and the Sony 50mm lens? Or should I stick with the 16-55mm kit lens?

Else does anyone have a lens they would like to recommend to pair with the Sony A33/A55? Note I'm asking for lens that can auto focus as well as manual focus with the A33/A55.

The Zeiss 16-80 paired with the A55 is a great combo(below are some random picts with this pair).

The 50f1.8 is a good prime but I would recommend the 35f1.8 over it as it is just much more 'useful'.

ps: the standard kit lens is 18-55 and not 16-55 ! ...if video is important to you, get this !

yeah CZ 16-80 is also my dream wide lens :( sadly I can only afford Tamron 17-50....

So you're saying that the Zeiss 16-80 is definitely worth buying and upgrading the kit lens to? And that for video the 35mm F1.8 is more useful than the 50mm F1.8?

I don't know if I'll be shooting videos much as all my previous cameras were not video-capable so I've never really taken videos with DSLRs before. But once I get the Sony A33, that may change? ;)

Oh you must take video using A33/A55 but beware of the overheating issue hehehe so you must turn odd the IBIS or SSS as they call it in Sony.

Using a fast and wide lens for video taking ia a treat, I am using my Tamron 17-50mm constant f2.8 and it's really nice. Will try to upload in you tube the latest vid I took at esplanade :)

Gotten new lens (I mean old lens) Minolta 28-135 f4-4.5. Below some quick random shots using A33+28-135mm

I know were only interested in stills, but the strength of A33/A55 is on video as well, in case anyone wanna see, here's a short video I've put together for my recent trip:
