I am half posioned already by A55 and when I saw how cheap are some lens in Sony line up man....

SK_2 wow very nice come to think it's hand held night shots at ISO1600 looks good

I'm impress with the ISO. Nice pics.

Thanks Sk_2... you have been helpful in making my decision to buy.. either A33 or A55 now.. ;)

Lol ! :sweatsm: ...No wonder I found that boy with the mum so familiar !

Thanks for sharing, Bro.

I've gotten my A33... was initially eyeing A55 but was lured to A33 by MS Color good promo. I've opt for 18-250 and 50mm f1.8 test out the 18-250

All photo taken with Manual setting and Manual WB and no Post processing just added the text/signature. JPEG was set to Large-Fine and Color standard (Default setting). AE was all set to 0 or middle/Normal

I do notice A33 similar with my Oly E-620 has problen focusing the sky (Infinity) must find a good area in the sky for the AF be able to focus. Will see if there's any setting ther than MF could solve this issue.

Since bro SK already showcase night capabilities of A33 below are all outdoor bright sunny day.

This shot purposely put the WB a little bit to the left (cooler side) to capture the sky color.... I think this was 4000Kelvin

Notice some barreling at short-end of 18-250... it is a bit bad but could be corrected

testing the 18-250 long end of the lens, also hows the bokeh of this Lens and color. I say atstandard color setting it's not very agressive... i have not shot in Vivid yet.

Try changing your file format to RAW + Jpeg(fine). Then use Image Data Converter SR software to change the RAW file .ARW to the various Creative Styles ie, VIVID, B&W etc, etc.

I usually will keep the RAW file original after adjusting the image (not saving the edited raw) and ONLY save the adjustment by converting to JPEG for usage.

tks so far I am not saving in raw yet will do that also see how it goes :) I am also learning HDR (post processing) but sadly Sony entry level only could fo .3 or .7 increment in 3F shots... not much range in it :( another technique I've read is using the a single RAw image to produce a decent HDR... I have yet to try it hehehe

Yeah man!
