Took some portraits with my A55 + 50mm F1.8 yesterday. The 50mm is a sharp lens and its very affordable too! Slowly growing to love the small A55.

My first ever try photo of the moon, using the beercan 70-210 did some PP (cropping, adding signature and changing it to B&W)

Apologized if not that sharp... I was experimenting on my settings

popai98: wow i love that color! may i know what lens and profile did u use?

stanycjw: ytd audio house just ended their show at expo, depending on whether u need the accessories :dunno:
$1249 comes with the following:
2 x 8GD
card reader
dry box
lowpro bag
tripod
cleaning kit

if u only need the body alone it's probably at ~$1140 from parissilk with std freebies.
side note: pls try out the camera first, as i do not think the a55's 10 fps shooting is ideal for bird shooting, as there is a long clearing time of the buffer depending on how fast the memory card u are using.

my 2c.

Just bought A55 with normal kit as my PnS camera...was actually using canon 50D before.there baby is very snappy & fun to use..here are some shot using manual mode.
