Contax N 17-35 @ 17mm. Before FE UWA is available. This will be my UWA lens.

Yeah. Way to go bro. U wun regret it. But u should oso consider a good 50/1.2 lens. Much better for portraiture.

images and build quality from the 50 1.5 are better to me and so is the chrome look hehe... but seriously also because it is darn hard to get things in focus at F1.1. so i bought the F1.5 instead. hit-rate much higher

Let me reverse poison you...try a 85/1.2 for portraiture the force is stronger over there

Bro... I tested your CV 50/1.1 when we first met for the gariz case at your place, rem? First time shot wif it wide open at f/1.1, din find it hard to get focus leh... This is the shot below:

I've tried MFing for the last few months, and still prefer AF a lot more.. 1.2 would be amazing for full length portraits though! Hopefully they announce an FE85 F1.8 soon

Dun haf to... I am anti 85mm... LOL... No 85mm can poison me, not even the CY Zeiss 85/1.2... I have seen photos from a lot of 85/1.2, they are nice but I prefer the character, Bokeh and rendering from my ever poisonous Minolta MC Rokkor 58/1.2 as show below! Keke...

Personal preference, but I think your shots with 55FE has better bokeh qualities. The rokkor ones look busy and dizzy for old man like me.

Personal preference only lah. Used to Leica bokeh. Smooth, melting ones. Busy ones not very nice for me.
