I've tried MFing for the last few months, and still prefer AF a lot more.. 1.2 would be amazing for full length portraits though! Hopefully they announce an FE85 F1.8 soon

Yeah... shucks that Sony has no 50/1.2 FE AF lens in sight yet...

Personal preference, but I think your shots with 55FE has better bokeh qualities. The rokkor ones look busy and dizzy for old man like me.

Why? You aperture ring stucked at f1.1 arh???

If u use it at anything apart from 1.1 the bokeh and aperture blades are no longer circular. So any light sources behind becomes hexagonal

images and build quality from the 50 1.5 are better to me and so is the chrome look hehe... but seriously also because it is darn hard to get things in focus at F1.1. so i bought the F1.5 instead. hit-rate much higher

did you consider the zeiss ZM 50f1.5?

The silver looks nice too?

No la hehe it is ok for stationary subjects. Anything moving f1.1 v hard to get in focus

Bro... I tested your CV 50/1.1 when we first met for the gariz case at your place, rem? First time shot wif it wide open at f/1.1, din find it hard to get focus leh... This is the shot below:

90 Summicron f2 is my single most favourite lens for now...haha at least until my 75/1.4 Summilux arrives ;p
