btw how do you guys able to attach big size images from Flickr?
my flickr don't have option to grab the HTML/BBCode for size 2048 (only Large 1024 and original size which is 6000):think:

Don't do it, mods and some people will complain about the large size. Providing links is better.

I'm shocked how bad the compression is, because of that it doesn't look like ISO 1250 even with NR off.
The ISO 500 shot is actually even worse.

That's why I mentioned in my view in the other post.. the noise control is much worse than my 5d3.. i also dont understand.. is that bcos I got a lemon set? Or is it the LR issue cannot handle A7 pics well?

could be software compression LR.. check your LR export setting even if you set it to 6000x4000 if your resolution is low your photos may not come out good, you need to strike a balance between Resolution and pixel density in Pixel Per Inch or Pixel Per CM. I also notice this when I use Adobe Raw conversion for A7/r RAW to DNG when I choose some setting e.g fast load and use Lossy Compression I am getting a DNG file with weird looking noise pattern... So I suspect its your LR causing the compression issue to your photos. try comparing the noise pattern between your JPEG OOC and JPEG from LR. see if there's a huge diff
