Some random shots around Orchard Road with 35mm FE. I like this lens. It is as sharp as my 35mm Biogon F2. The last shot isn't sharp, but shows some subject isolation at F2.8 even with 3/4 body shot. The second last shot of the man was at F4.
Just out of curiosity, did you tried to recover some shadows in post? The photos looked a tad embossy.

Yes the lens is sharp but I think the greatest strength is the ability to resist color fringing.
So far all my shots does not shows color fringing.
Could be due to the f2.8 which is a rather subdued aperture
yeah the ring hole of NEX& is bigger than A7x just worried coz like bro TNTrue I have heavy glass to lug around and I read some user feedback in the internet NEX7 ring would fail after less than a year
One of the lugs on my NEX-7 completely wore through, at about one year IIRC. Anyway, since bro Thoth can't wait . . . haha.. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/189/wvsn.jpg/ Uploaded with ImageShack.us
A7r with LA-EA4 and Sony 70-400G. Great magnification with 36MP sensor...
Yes, all except the 1st shot. Just my taste. However, they are all shot JPEG and I am using a 2004 version of Photoshop Elements (version 4 I think).
That's amazing, the fact that you can recover details from shadow, from a jpeg, sheer awesomeness a7/R.
I've been doing it since the my first Sony exmor sensor in the K5. The OMD & GX7 jpegs are pretty malleable as well. The reason I use an old version of Photoshop elements is that my PC is 10 years old and runs Windows XP. I was using Lightroom until version 3.6, then version 4 didn't run on Windows XP anymore and 3.6 doesn't read the raw files of newer cameras, so I gave up with it and went back to the 10 year old Photoshop Elements and JPEGS. Maybe some day, I will buy a new PC and upgrade Lightroom.
some test shot A7r using another MF lens this time Vivitar 55/2.8 Macro MD mount shots are @ f2.8
I'm truly inspired by you folks and your MF glasses. MUST. GET. MF. LENS.
