Soft lens and low contrast wide open but from f2 seem to get better. This lens will be nice for portraits.

PS this lens is freaking heavy for a RF size lens...

I'll try bro last time I have a Russian lens with famous of having swirly bokeh but I almost never saw it lolz need to have a perfect background distance....

Thanks bro this is one Leica Lens very few folks would like to have due to low contrast and it has the famous leica glow hehe... Also I failed in converting photos to b/w :-(

Convert very easy one la... Usually take some shots wif the trees and greeneries as background confirm can get swirly bokeh on this lens. LOL

Reminds me of the M-mount Zeiss 50mm 1.5, which is slightly sharper in the center. That is also an ancient design.

is that what Russian copied?

I have the Russian Sonnar copied design the Jupiter 50/1.5 LTM mount almost same as this Leica soft wide open but I love the out of focus rendering. Anyways now low contrast lens is not an issue anymore there's always PP to pull the contract and saturation up to your liking

Reposting this time around what I did was use Sony Data Converter and convert the A7r RAW file to TIFF and processed using LR noticed the Sony TIFF is more saturated colors than the A7r converted RAW to DNG using Adobe converter

The A7r is useful for doing street shooting with a 35mm lens without getting too close These two guys didn't look too friendly.

Haha. Poisoned deep deep by yr lens liao. Must test more on it. Last nitez testing was too short n lack of interesting location. Should bring it down to orchard bro.

Good idea. But I'll need to borrow his lens to go orchard take some interesting shots first. Dunno when will b a major event to take promo girls. Haha

Hi guys, the images taken with rangefinder lens on A7/R is inspiring. I am also considering getting one for my A7 but torn between CV 35mm f1.2 v2 or ZM Biogon 35mm f2. Can advice?
