Try the CV 35mm f1.2... so sharp even when wide open... so much sharper than my Canon FD 50mm f1.2.

Maybe I should try the CV 50mm f1.1 or the SLR Magic 50mm T0.95 (the Leica Noctilux 50mm f0.95 killer)

yeah, got a friend who has been showing me samples of the CV 35 f1.2..... poison! :P

hahaha!!!!! :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Seriously bro... I m really good wif kids... they love me... I will be an awesome helper to that helper in the photo... :bsmilie:

Hear hear... Voigtlander adapter is really the best (along with Novoflex). super flat and zero freeplay... Even with the sony kit lens, I couldn't achieve secure sturdy fit like the Voigtlander does.

Don't bother with the el cheapo China made adapters, waste of money. Bought one to try, but it was crap.

Did you experience any smearing at the edges on your CV?

Smearing - nope, not that I can detect. But I didn't specifically look for signs of it to be honest...

Looks like you need the A7r

you know, I thought long and hard about it. Got the A7 in the end cos I read that M mount wides don't play well with the A7R.

I have been shooting AA-less cameras for so long with their gritty looks (both the Ricoh GR and M9) that I'm not used to the smoother images of the A7! :P

She likes to use my camera bags as headrests - especially my soft, seasoned Domke F2 haha!
Here's my dog next to my other camera bags...

Kit lens is best for walking the dog cos I can then use the camera one handed :P

Totally agree especially walking in the rain with an umbrella in hand, was pretty much raining almost everyday while i was in japan. the oss and af helped a lot. just snap and walk on. Dont get why people bash the kits so much, would love to see them pulling focus with a single shivering hand in the cold or a hyperactive dog on a leash :) Anyway nice shot of the miniature collie.

anyone tried the SEL 10-18 between 13mm-16mm can post here? alpharumours shows some images showing it is "usable", not too sure about how the edges hold up though, possible temporary autofocus capable work-around before the UWA FE lenses come along.

I just tried my Sigma 19mm can use if it will show as APS-C size image (cropped) (if you have this feature into Auto) if not heavy vignetting

How is the vignetting stopped down and at closest focusing distance?

some people have used the nikon dx 35 1.8 and sigma dc 30 1.4 on full frame and showed they covered almost the full frame fov as well, but to use those on the A7 you will need adaptors.

OK, that vignetting cannot get fixed without cropping. Thanks for uploading a shot!
