Bro... dun compromise by getting the kit lens... FE35 should be available soon... check with the usual shops like MS Color and Cathay, just dun go to Sony stores... they wun get the stock first... :bsmilie:

Actually , the kit lens is pretty decent . Weather sealed and light. The iq is much better than the 18-55mm nex kit in my opinion. Of course 35mm FE is much better definitely.

Tried the panoramic function of the A7.

Oh wow.. so sharp at 1/6s.. *drools*

It was quite hard, had to take quite a few shots. Really had to brace it against the hands on the floor. Doesn't help that the cat keeps moving.

Very steady hands. Haha

Nice! I see the Zeiss rendering. So far, from all the photos the FE35 is producing the sharpest images compared to all the legacy glass.

Sharpness is a bourgeous concept...

hehe yea the shot of the lily is nice indeed, but its is also because of the way it is framed with the leaves and the water reflection providing the interesting background, rather then just the sharpness of the lens.

Haha. I think you mean bourgeois. So highbrow photographers prefer form over function. For me, sharpness is a necessary, but not sufficient condition.

Your attempts to resist the calling will fail. Keke

Meaning I ain't bourgeois and I like sharpness. :D

The beauty of photography, for me at least, is exploiting the capabilities rather than bitching about the limitations.
