Wow, they got quite a bit wrong... I mean, "no flipout LCD" for the NEX-3??
There is already a comment in the review regarding the mistake. :bsmilie:

finally manage to see the a33 and found out that the grip is really small.. even smaller than a a230.. good for girls..

well, didn't manage to grip both together to compare, but just by looks, it does looks smaller than the a230.. i still prefer grips of the a500/a550

Sonystyle bishan has A33, A500 and A390 side by side...can try them there...

cool, no doubt the a33's specs is amazing.. if it wasn't for the grip i would have gotten the a33 instead.

got it more than a wk already and trying to get familiarized w/ its shooting capabilities. the only qualms so far;
-battery life...aw!
-focus motor noise when videoing in a quiet setting

The af noise is loud becos you are using 18250 which has to utilise the in-body motor which is very loud for video.
Try get some SAM or SSM lenses and you will be amazed how quiet the AF is.

do you have any sample clip using ssm lenses? i know they're expensive so would the implementation of ext mic be a better cost-effective workaround?

Yes sam. And this sam is quieter than the one used in 50/1.8 and 30/2.8macro.
