can't rem but i think the seller undeclare... he put $500 is i did not rem wrongly. but my package quite small... so properly went off the radar.

it differs from seller to seller... some seller post their stuffs upon receiving payment, some delay by a few days. also must see what postal service they using.

like the seller selling me the lens, i got it within 6 days! he posted from USA using express US postal service.

but another seller which I bought from (a leica filter)... posted out on 4th aug from HK using hong kong post, till now haven reach me -_-"

HK used to be fast, about 4 to 5 days but recently, its like mainland China. I've got parcels coming in after 4 weeks. Then again, Singpost will delay as well. I've got something which took 5 days to reach Singapore from the US and Singpost took bloody 3 weeks to have it delivered to my house.

Yup recently the delivery speed from hk has dropped. I used to get my stuff 2 weeks using free shipping but recently they take 4 weeks. In the past when I am lucky I got it within 4 days

if nobody at your house when they delivered, you must collect at the SingPost office.

What is it that you need to buy from Ebay? Usually after shipping and tax, there is very little diff.

Some cameras are really cheap from ebay. Recently was looking for a mamiya 645 af and you can get a camera + 80mm lens + film back for 600 USD with shipping. The shops around peninsula were charging S$ 1500 for the body alone. Of course there are risks but in this case the savings were too big to pass up.
