Singapore Wander

Hi Ryan,

Would you be able to share your setup with me. Indeed, they are, i have done a search on TS lenses and the Nikon ones are at least 3k, thats abit costly for someone like myself who has justed photography. Thanks

Hi Eugon

My current setup is a 5DMk2 and the mirex adapter with 3 mamiya primes ( 35 / 55 / 150 )
The adapter and the 3 lenses cost me a little more than half of what i got for my nikon 24mm PCE. I also cross adapt my Nikon 85mm PC onto the 5D2 for now.

If only they allow tripods .. ( for free )

I love the mood of #69!!

Hmmm.. Didnt know Mamiya primes are so cheap??!! Always thought that MF lens are drop dead expensive.. LOL.. Pardon my ignorance.. :embrass:

Hi Ryan,

i have never thought a grey stormy sky + rain will be such a good subject for shooting. #21 really shows alot of strong emotions like angst & perils of the open seas.

thanks for sharing your wonderful works here. your work are very inspirational and motivate me to make good photos.

A rainy boat ride to Ubin.
The surprise drizzle halfway got us totally drenched.

Oh i am using the cheap manual focusing older Mamiyas.
The newer autofocusing ones are pricey, but ( luckily ) they dun work with the Mirex adapter.

Yea Gavin. No flash in certain areas, and no tripod unless u pay a fee.

Hi Kelvin. Yup it was before our sumptous dinner !
Unfortunately i didn't shoot too much then. The museum is itself pretty photogenic i probably make another trip down.

Trying out the 55mm f2.8.

My intent was to go much nearer to grab the shot but unfortunately it was fenced ahead..

I took this exact shot roughly abt a week ago too. Time was around 6.30pm. As i inched closer to the fields, the water sprinkler came on! Darn! I immediately turned and took the SRC instead.

Nice shot thou! Keep em coming!

I took the shot pretty late after dinner though, skies were pitch dark.
Anyhow I will probably retake the shot again and see if I can get what I finally want :bsmilie:

Outside the Thian Hock Temple. Was actually waiting for something, but a more interesting happy old man appeared.

hrm, #70 and #73, wish the verticals were corrected.

Hahaha priceless expression!!!

Thx Gavin!

Hi Wk. Thx for the comment. I agree that the # 73 would have been better processed with corrected verticals. # 70 actually i was hopping the buildings at the back had more exaggerated curvatures. I would very much like to redo that particular shot when i got the time :)
