Sigma announces 35mm f/1.4 DG, 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS, 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS lenses

Why so pessimistic? Haven't you heard of the proverb "No News is Good News"? ;)

hopefully, still waiting for all the canon users to feedback how well the sigma 35mm f1.4 focuses on Canon bodies.

Those who have gotten the sigma 35mm, can kindly share how is the AF? Does it exhibit any serious front or back focus?

So far my copy doesn't have any front or back focus issue.

Now mostly I'm shooting stills and it focus accurately. Have yet to try focusing on moving objects. Will try it out and update you guys again.

The AF is fast, accurate and reliable. I have no qualms bringing out for my work.
The IQ is lovely and really tack sharp even at f1.4!

Deployed this lens in this recent album, enjoy! -------> Celebrate Christmas in Singapore

Thanks for the update. Will get hold of one once Nikon mount is readily available.

I wonder why Sigma's taking time to bring the 35 f1.4 in Singapore. I can see other photographers (onlne) already using it on their Nikons. Tsk.

thanks great shots under really difficult conditions. did you have any misfocused shots? What is the hit rate? Mind telling me what body you are using?

Did 2 more events with challenging lighting, Sigma35 really impresses! Using on 5D2 centre focus point.

Had zero misfocused shots (read: can submit to client), except 2-3 which were during dance items so might be user error. In short, focuses more accurately and faster than my Sigma 50 f1.4 and Canon 35L (speed on par).

Feline at 35mm

Cats are pretty hard to nail in low light too, but the Sigma 35mm performed perfectly. Check out the photo above, more sample pics will be uploaded there too.

TK Foto has stock for Sigma 35 f1.4 Nikon F mount.

Was trying out the Sigma 35mm focus and image resolution in my dim room. It was very sharp at wide open F1.4. Focus was accurate and fast even in dim room.

Shot with my 5D MKIII
Aperture: F1.4
Shutter Speed: 1/100
ISO: 800
Focusing point: 1 point AF at "Samsung"
No sharpening was done in setting or post process.

Care to share how much you got it? And from which shop? :)

Thanks in advance. I miss shooting @ f1.4. Let go of my 35L when I switched to Nikon camp :-D

Anyone have idea for cc ibstalment plans?

Edited:
