Ha... you met others there ah? I was the one who asked you about night86mare. ;) I just posted what I shot this morning at TPTP before you arrived.

=D

Was wondering what happened to the thread, didn't see it popping up. Getting a little busy before I go to UK proper, so won't really have as much time as before to play with butterflies. Nice to see that Bcircle and the usual butt people are going strong though, hopefully when I come back next year around this time I'd have salvaged enough money to get another 70-300mm macro.

Keep shooting guys, love some of shots posted in this new thread, and the last few in the old one. When I next start shooting butts again I must really catch the Branded Imperial, love its looks. =) <3 <3

Looks like it was just hatched from the pupa..(my guess only) Nice shot bro.

I noticed a small orange structure coming out of the butterfly’s abdomen when I was reviewing my other photo. I believe the butterfly was laying eggs.

May be some experts can answer that. I am still a very newbie... Let's keep shooting bro...

Federick: Very nice shots you got there. Believe you are one of the butt experts. Especially the green baron.. It didn't allow me to get that close.

You're right. The Tailed Jay was ovipositing. Congrats on the good catch!

Just wish there was more filled flash on the wings.

Regards
CM
