Sharing a very rare butterfly that lives deep in the primary forest of Peninsula Malaya. Its vivid red and black color with striking iridescence blue led to it being aptly named " The Living Jewel of the Tropical Forest".
Shot was taken on 15th Aug 08 at the upper reaches of Sungei Selai, Endau Rompin National Park , Johore , West Malaysia.
