vngks - wonder if Adrian can promise me two minutes of quiet time on my own in the burial chamber of the Dashur Red Pyramid.. If possible, I guess I will try and go again, just to re-live the part of my adventure (but this time, maybe I ask for 4-Digits.. hehheee.. joking, joking..)....

The star shoot & light trail should be possible in Egypt.. (very tempted).. the cloudless Egypt Sky should be good for such shoots.. I will first need to sell off some photography equipment to fund trip..

67. It's day 3 in Nepal and it's the 2nd day for Lukla departure after 1st day flight was cancelled due to bad weather in Lukla.
Same drill....woke up at 5am, reached airport by 645 and wait for the flight to depart which is delayed due to the fog in Kathmandu.

While waiting, I managed to sneak up to the roof top of the boarding lounge and take these runaway shots for record purpose

68. After some time finally the fog is cleared and 1st flight which is scheduled at 7am started to depart at 10+am.

69. The first flight to Lukla finally take off....confirm.... double confirm !!!
All of us started jumping in joy and ready for our turn, as we are scheduled for the 2nd flight

70. BUT alas, luck is not on our side and again all the flights to Lukla was cancelled due to big clouds hovering over the Lukla Airport !!
One of the participants (New Kid in Town) started to cry upon hearing this announcement...(he's not really crying..he just tired and doze off while waiting for our turn to fly)

Hi! i would really love to! it was my orginal plan to go egypt this year with the trekkers. but because i'll be posted to work in korea for 2 yrs in july so i'll have to put that on pending. will need to see how i settle down from there.


thanks. hmm regarding the EBC. lol most likely 2 years later? have other locations on the list to clear before going back to the sad sad place! LOL

71. Well the flight cancellation turns to be a blessing in disguise for us, because we can experienced one of the biggest festival in Nepal, which called Holi Festival.
Holi is a spring religious festival celebrated by Hindus. It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka,and countries with large Indic diaspora populations, such as Suriname, Malaysia, Guyana, South Africa, Trinidad, United Kingdom, United States, Mauritius, and Fiji.

72. The main day, Holi, also known as Dhuli Vandana in Sanskrit, is celebrated by people throwing coloured powder and coloured water at each other.
You can see clearly in this pic how the coloured powder and water make this passer by looks more handsome..soon it's our turn...soon....soon....

73. These are the bomber, they'll stationed at the top of the building and start throwing water to the people walk on the alley below.
Sometimes it's just a splash of water, but there are times where they'll throw the whole water in the big bucket also

In this picture, the "Genius" shirt kid already start looking around for his next target, luckily it was not me hehehe

Like what vngks said, these are the times when we regret either not bringing the tele, or having the tele, but didn't bring up to the view point (like me lor...)
