if 12 megapixels, the CCD or CMOS sensor can no longer but at 1.5X crop liao, have to be full frame. the sensor size is too small, then noise will be an issue again.

Yup, I know. Not only kill CF card, kill HDD and the CPU also. ;p But thats the trend nowadays with new cam, the megapixels race is still ongoing. Prolly the next crop of bodies will have 10-12 megapixels minimum.

8 megapixels are just fine for me, for my uses. Anything bigger than that is overkill, IMO.

Seriously speaking...nah..dun think I would go for 5D, not for my style of photography. Prefer a 1.3x crop body. (i.e. Mk II ...N?) ;p

A few significant improvements over the older Mk II. Slightly more buffer, faster start up time, ability to choose which card to write to, and more significantly, 2.5 " LCD screen and lower MSRP (USD$3699?) which works out to around $6.6k sing dollar, cheaper than the Mk II when it first launched. Very tempting indeed. :think:
