i dun think it dropped much (rite, espn?). but, the 2hs prices are way too close to d2x - which gave pause to buyers/upgraders of d2h.

Difference between the two is quite big, D1 series also ma. D1H and D1X the prices also differ by a slight bit only.

actually... u might not be too far off.

think abt this - if u're a serious hobbist (as in non-paying hobby), would u splurge $5K+ getting an used 1DMkII or a $3K+ used 1D? yeah, 1D older tech blah blah blah... however, it still can get the job done in a blazing speed, rite?

with this 3rd gen FF DSLR, u can expect the old 1Ds to drop closer to current 1DmkII (new) prices. not a bad idea to get one, if u can afford it. :devil:

for canon I can survive with 17-40L; 50/1.8 and 70-200L. Maybe a 300/F4. Bodywise could max at 1Ds MkII....whew that is some list. then a TC 1.4 This is some list.

This is where I just use 17-40L. I can make do w/o the long range. The 24-105 is useful. but can make do w/o

I get that kind of screens a lot. Seems that the CS server is getting overloaded or something. These few days got trouble loading the pages. Other sites are find but I need to refresh the pages several times to get it rite. getting annoying. but no choice but to tahan with it.
