TO be honest, I don't see any degatory about his remarks. The fact is you posted that photograph and you should know what's going to come out from it..*shrug*. I have already told you about that before.

I always wonder why people make the term "snapshot" sound so derogatory. Many of the world's greatest photos are snapshots too!

Goodness sake..yes I did ask you out for lunch. Like I did to student. I still have to go out with dead poet, and another female member from CS, plus I agreed to fish with some of them. Not to add to the whole host of other ppl I have to meet. I just simply asked because out of friendliness. Yes I did say you were pretty, hot or whatever, but it doesn't mean I have to be after your ass. period.

I still have others to keep up to. If you think this is just because of a 'date', well honestly you're full of yourself . I did mention it as just a 'kopi session' rem?

I hate to break it to you gal, but I already have a gf. Fine, I'd be direct with you: I'd talk to you nicely in the beginning because I thought you were keen to learn and passionate about photography. But after looking at especially valentines and others thread, its very plain you're just an attention seeker. You are just out there to make the whole bunch of us look 'hum sup' or doodle at your feet, if I may add. Why, then when we just mention a lady in red bikini you went kaboom? You're just out to tease us.

Forget it la, alot of us maybe hum sup but we know you're a player. Don't date photographers my ass...oh and don't date people online but show them sexy self portraits of yourself and when they get lewd ideas you start giving them degatory labels. Give me a bloody break.

Let me put it this way. You called somebody who's a full blooded christian satan, insulted his God and his parents and all he did is mention is you in red bikini as an example of a photograph that could be a snapshot. Think about it. Not everything revolves around you gal. Sion I could understand, but this takes the cake.

Sputter ... the thing is, a good photograph, may it be a snapshot or a planned production, is still a good photograph, while a bad photograph, may it be a snapshot or a planned production, is still a bad photograph.

Saying a photograph is "merely a snapshot" does not necessarily means it's crap. It does means that the photographer was lucky to be at the right place and at the right time. However, it's not pure luck, because the photographer must also anticipate the shot happenning, and have the necessary skills to exposre and compose, to create the image.

However, all too often, snapshots taken or posted are really pressing the shutter, not taking a picture, and definately not creating an image.

Therefore, I always qualify my snapshot comments. it can be nice, good, great, and ofcourse, sucks.

If the photos are posted in Ready, Lights, Action!, then there will not be any issues here.

I did consider posting there.
but truth to be told... i really want to find out whether this can be consider as portrait or not.
As i stated earlier, to me this is more to snap shot (a good one, if i can say so myself :bsmilie: ) than portrait.... but it can pass as portrait also, just not a very good one.
And i would really like to see what other think, especially people like DP, DCA and etc.
Would like to see whether people will give comments about the messy hair, shoulder being cropped, and etc.

And Comments from DP is really good, i think he know that i have no control of the shoot since it is fashion show. He did not slam me with the about comments i made, but said it is a nice snap shot.

Of cos, not only DP give out good comments but others as well. :thumbsup:

i got what i want here.

the debate about whether this is portrait or snap shot is a bonus to me.

But i also got something that i didn't aspect from this thread. :dunno:

Full of controversial, emotional, and etc. :sweat:

alot of people initiated dates with me.but they are all gentlemen.
they dont burst their ego and transfer the energy to adding fuel to fire.
