hi, all the pics with star burst are tripod taken with ard 5sec exposure. chinese garden is onli like tat during its lantern carnival and i think its a waste of money to go... the theme is not nice in my opinion.
Har!! The pagodas are there permanently....then only got one pool of lotus lantern??? Cannot be ba?? So terok meh....:bsmilie: Anyway, how much to go in har?
no la, there is more but it seem that the theme 7 wonders of the world is not that nice. of all the shot taken, the lantern on the pond stands out most. entry on weekday is $8 and weekend $10 got 20% for ntuc link card. up to you to decide if u wan to go anot. but my conclsion is not worth the $

Anyone is able to use the S3is to blur the background to focus on the subject? I keep changing the aperture to find the correct stop but invail.

Is the website talking about dSLRs with larger sensors? Well, with a camera with such a small sensor, it is not easy. You will still need to zoom out at least to 100mm. Also, try getting a background that is further away from the subject.Ermz... I cant seem to produce the results. I read on websites where they can produce pretty good DOF at f4.I wanted to snap a picture of a person with the background bluring. Adjusted the camera at f2.8. The background is still so clear. The easiest to blur the background is through super macro. But I cant possible use them on portrait ba.
I wonder how to achieve the 'feather' picture without zooming much huh?
Thanks for the tips!![]()
