But for all the wrong reasons.

Btw, if I were Singaporean, I will proposed that Singapore skips this year's Miss World pageant.

Looks, Singapore is highly unlikely to crack the top at these pageant. Then at the very least, don't send someone like what we are about to do.

It is embarrassing.

don't send anyone..then next year cannot send already..they are obliged to send someone lah..

Ris need to train up and train up fast..but she looks absent-minded, confused and prone to panic attacks when she was training for MSU09.

Hope she can take the fast track.

she wanted to be a star, a celebrity, no?

u gotta take the sunshine along with the rainy days. they come as a standard package.

otherwise, i think she'll do well being a fashionista. BOOM BOOM BOOM!!

up for RIS!! she mux be the most well known miss singapore world ever in the history.

must be you kelong to let her win issit???

Lucky its normally just a parade of costumes and not like grammy performances... otherwise i can imagine what song she'll be performing...

Char Sio Pau to the tune of Boom Boom Pow...

She took part in MSU also?

Guess quite a number of contestants took part in a few contests.. BMS, MSU, MSW etc.. always the same faces..

they join until either they overage or they won either 1... nobody say you can't join every year, but ppl do stop you after you've won a title.

The 1st runner up of BMS '09 took part in MSW '09 also leh..

Anyway.. perhaps they should encourage more new comers.. every contest also same face.. quite boring also.. If they really have to resort to recycling.. that it implies that the pool is really very limited.. and in this case.. the winner is really the "best" in the pool already..

the goats say YES

I do hope you have some proof to back that up for it is insulting to the researchers producing good work in Singapore.

Back on topic!

Holy crap, are the judges deaf?! I don't expect a contestent to slang her way through but come on, surely having a decent level of diction is a must?

If you're asking me for proof, you're not an insider and was never in the league to apply for either groups of scholarships. :bsmilie:

bro .... not so nice to speculate like that ... it's quite hurting :bheart:

she is Rachel Kum, should be an eurasian so naturally she speaks better england ..... :dunno:
Rachel Kum is 100% Chinese Singaporean.. Kum is a Chinese dialect surname in Cantonese.
