Was testing this lens other day, kinda heavy for my liking, though canon ltms' had some really nice gems...
Dun find shooting lcd / vf2 any difference to shutter lag...it's laggy for both haha...i wish they can bump up the buffer
I read someone saying that 16MP sensor version of M-module will be available in coming Jan/Feb:
Still no love for the Ricoh GXR? - FM Forums
Not sure if I am happy or sad with the news  Should be happy because having the same 5N 16MP sensor on GXR should be the dream configuration for me. ;p But I just bought the M-module....

To the few it may concern... ...GXR M module update - FM Forums
hi guys, just wanted to share something I discovered this week -- Nissin's Di886 flash (Nikon version) works in manual mode on the GXR hotshoe!
tried out the combination for the first time this week even though i've had both pieces of equipment since 2009. for some reason, i'd tried out my sb900 on the gxr (which doesn't work) but never the nissin.
hope this helps someone out!

i think the a12 mount is unique enough without the aa filter, so they don't have to update that. the 5N is cleaner at high iso, but the GXR is acceptable by today's standards.
on the other hand the camera module to me needs some work to bring in a better screen and also a better EVF. if you haven't you should try the 5N's... the sharper images do help in creating the shot, and will reduce dependence on focus peaking. changes here would benefit ALL lenses/mount types.
Nothing to share recently of this incredibly small and handy camera. Yes, there're several competitors and 1 particularly new offering in X Pro 1, but I still think it's hard to beat the size of this camera (and yet still have the excellent built quality).
Here's 1 in mono-chrome to share -
Thanks, JK.Wonderful tonality!
Thanks, JK.
Let's keep this thread going, young124444 / wonglp! ;-)
There's a bit of a campaign to set up a similar thread in the Rangefinder forum but I will bite.
Personally, I use the camera for a fair bit of uses, such as concert photography and landscape. Here are some shots I took of a particular one by "Alvin and the Jazzmunks" that took place over the Christmas season at the Esplanade.
