Ricoh GXR! - Season II

Nice cat!!

Thanks felix, this cat very comfortable with people, very nice and well taken care of too, someone will provide cat food and a bowl of water to this cat almost every day.

Wong, Marcus & Desmond
thanks for photo post. i tried shooting my block cat with kipon + FA31 but cant get a good shot. me lousy or cat lousy? :p

For you not able to take a good shot, the cat must be very uncooperative to you…?:bsmilie: I initially wanted to get the M mount too and use the FA limited with it but knowing my lousy skill at MF,:embrass: I decided not get it at the end. Another reason I bought the GXR is to replace my spoilt compact camera so prefer to have the convenience of taking out point and shoot as and when without much hassle.

Goodness gracious! All regular Pentaxians are using the Ricoh GXR!!

Wong Se, how big does the S10 become after fitting the wide angle adapter? Front heavy?

it is heavier but not unbalance, the good grip from GXR body certainly helps.
the only complain that the overall combo is no longer compact, the lens would not retract to the body as s10. I need a bigger bag to carry around.

i suspected so. the camera and the cats are lousy. hahaha... joke aside, difficult to shoot a cat that keep coming at you and a camera that is on MF. will experiment more and hopefully can get a keeper some day.

Can be done ... just need practise!

Nice ... Wondering what's the damage. I have the adapter, just need the lens. It'll be good to have especially when it comes to having a wider perspective when getting nearer to the subject. ;-)

Make sense to get the DW-6 if you already have the adapter. not sure about the pricing in SG, it is around USD150 from US.
