Review: Nikon's newest line - the Nikon 1 series V1 and J1 cameras

Hi. Is it possible you can share larger photos particularly the photos taken with the 30-110 and 10/2.8? Thank you.

Wow... if ISO noise is low then can buy this with a adapter and with a 300mm can go for bird shoot already

This is better than buying a 500mm - 600mm telephoto.

60 fps some more... no excuse saying bird fly away... :embrass:

at 2.7 crop factor, it will be 810mm when using a 300mm lens.
there is one concern here, how small the aperture will become?

Huh... aperture will still maintain at what was shown in the lens by the manufacturer, it will not become smaller or larger.

the lens looks cute :D

It would be better on 500mm or 600mm.... 300mm with this still too short.

The photos looks good... very nice...

I may actually buy it despite my initial thoughts of "small sensor damnit!".

Small sensor doesn't seem to be much of an issue, from the photos I'm looking at. Well, I'll wait for the launch to go try it out myself. A night launch provides a great opportunity to test for ISO capability, low light AF, and WB.

I could have done better if I had more time with it, sorry for the meager photos

I know this is great for birders. I am reserving and trying to get the first copy of the V1 and also the lens adapter. to see if it is fast enough with the 600mmf4

:o :o 600 x 2.7 = 1620mm equivalent .... this is just crazy !!! ..... you'll need a serious tripod/head combination set up to support this focal length

for sunbirds and pacific swallows the 110mm lens can do the trick, a 300mm f4 will become a 810mm monster

looking good! thanks for the effort posting samples =) may i request your personal opinion on the 10 2.8? specifically contrast/corner performance? considering the J1 and 28mm as a compact for social events. thanks in advance

I usually use yousendit.com, but the link will only last for a week and capped at 100mb. any chance we can get some NEFs?
