That would count too... :bsmilie:

All cameras produce good photos... most of the time it depends on the photographer... more than anything else.

good system do make a diff as well... it does help a noob like me... especially on Olympus Art filter

The art filters may well enhance a well-taken image, but it will not make a badly-taken image good.

And the wrong art filter can turn a well-taken image...less than good =p Beware beware. heh.

Really looks like the LX3. I guess EOL of LX series?

Well, it comes with an optional viewfinder but no built in stabilisation. That's a big no no for me. I can do without the flash and the viewfinder attachment but built in IS is a must. Hate depending on lenses for that.

Oh well, Canon put their IS in their lenses too. That's how they make tons of $$$...

It's not the money but rather the fact that my lenses now don't have IS unless I buy the Panasonic ones. Much rather have in-body IS and have it for ALL my lenses Panasonic or Olympus.

Looks good.
4 colors.
AVCHD Lite (huh?)
EVF (good move, Panny!)
Same engine at GH1. Venus HD engine. Bleah! for stills, kick butt for videos. (Personal opinion).
GH1 still rocks as compared to GF1 as a video camera, I believe.

Geesh. DPreview already have the cam for 1month. Zzz..But the pop out flash really looks fragile. Does resemble something in Star Wars. R2D2? Or Wallie?

lets hope its not vapourware.

Its already announced on Panasonic website. Can't be a vaporware.

guess the resolution is the difference in AVCHD

the GF1 seems to be a really nice package...good replacement for my LX2

This should be around S$1300:)

IMO it looks more promising than the EP-1

Yup, more than agree...:)pop out flash really looks fragile indeed:o:sweat:
:cool:lah-lah, afterall a great cam I believe:cool:

Shall stick to my plan to get an EP1

Lenses wise....hmm thats another question all together, the 20/1.7 looks extremely tempting, and that 90mm looks like a good portrait/macro/close up lense!;)
