ya, just called them n they told me tmr stock coming, but i realised that their prices are a tad higher than slr and manly, they quoted me $950 for 18-55/50-200mm dual lens kit, any1 knows if MS can request for freebies like memory stick/bags etc one? if not i think i'll just wait till slr or manly restock, anw if MS restock tmr that means SLR and manly also restocking soon since theres only one supplier lol

hi, i am a super noob to dslr, recently have read some reviews online and compare the prices...and it appeals to me that Kx is a good camera which is value for money...
i would also like to know if you all think whether is there any freebies during the upcoming IT fair.. mm i am very interested in buying a Kx before i fly to japan on march 16...i understand there is a upcoming IT fair soon..do you think the retailers will throw in freebies during that time? and will it be out of stock again by then?? IT fair is on march 11 - 14 2010

In addition, i would like to know how many photos could a 8gb sdhc card take using Kx ?? mm lets say best quality...highest megapixels?

Don't wait until IT Fairs to buy cameras unless you like being chopped as a carrot. It is always much better to buy cameras from your favourite dedicated camera shops. In any case Pentax will not be at the IT Fair. And why wait for the IT Fair? Just go down to the shop now and buy your K-x and start enjoying and learning how to use it now. Even if you save money buying at an IT Fair no amount of money can buy the practice and the shots that you miss while waiting for the IT Fair.

8 GB SDHC can take minimum 400+ shots in RAW, at least 1400+ in JPEG. Usually you will get more than the minimum number of shots depending on the compressibility of whatever you shoot.

Too bad they dun have Double kit for Red & White. Only black since its not much in demand so they had to do a double kit bundle for the black for it to move.

i'm always trying to gauge how much memory space is needed for holiday trips.

sometimes i feel 8gb is enough, but since i haven got the kx i feel that at least 16gb is needed.

Where did you purchase your Kx?

SLR Revo has no stock for dual lens package and will only arrive 1 - 2 weeks time.

I need it for my Jap trip in April too, but need time to play with it and familiarise with the settings first.
