strange...no D40 deals...
in anycase, these days Nikon has one of the most massive free gift package at any pc show. they give away mini tripods, dry box, camera cleaning kit, memory cards , etc.
pentax has kept it relativelt simple because their price is already cheap.
But I think an increase to 2GB card would have been good too.

SOny's package for the A100 is VERY cool. The GPS thingie rocks.

Alright, US and Australian markets already have received their K10D. (Cheapest here in Perth is AUD$1199 body only)

Hello fellow pentaxian, I was quoted about rm3700 for the k10d body in malaysia. They say will arrive early dec. Apparently they have the camera. Just that they won't realease till 30th Nov. Guess the are following the company instruction lor.

That's quite expensive compare w/ the US, but very good if compare w/ OZ.

Let's hope Shriro would do a good job on the pricing (I mean a lower price ;p )

If sources points to the fact that it'll be priced similarly to Australian prices I might as well get it when I'm in Singapore(fingers crossed for some freebies thrown in;p )

I was just worried reading an earlier comment about how you can't buy just the body alone....don't want to end up with another DA18-55

RM3700 is about S$1575. Is it list or retail price?

Today is 30 November. Do they mean to start delivering to stores in Malaysia or start selling in stores today?

Hi all - I would like to find a good deal on body only: if it comes with the 18-55 that would give me 3 identical kit lenses!

It's useful having a spare just in case you want to sell a body with a lens on the front but still ...

Well guys i was told like 1 week ago they have the camera in stock somewhere in malaysia. I actually ordered one from one of the camera shops in penang. They told me i could get the camera like 2 days ago but apparently the camera did not arrive. So i cancel the order. Btw when i order i presume they would be selling at a conversion of 899usd. SO it should be around RM 3260 or something. I guess early adopters will have to pay the premium. At least the trip to penang did get me my black 77mm limited. He he he.

went to a store today and held one in my hands alot more buttons compared to my humble DL2, all the buttons seem nice and tight though.

Tried to test it out but it had no card in the camera :sticktong
