I agree with what Azure said, this upcoming CS event on 30th. December.. I am looking forward to meeting as many CSer as possible.

Mods, superusers, student, deadpoet and many more who had helped me in one way or another directly or indirectly by their posts and knowledge sharing.

Maybe less wise cracks at others would go a long way to achieving harmony and respect of the individual whatever their opinion would go a long way in maintaining that harmony.

Maybe we can have one huge gathering for CS members + photo exhibition by CSer + photoshoot competition + camera's dealers road show + models shoot + talks by pro-photogs..many many more --> Clubsnap Convention :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

ya... hehe, can even have a carnival and fun fair... roller coaster rides... :bsmilie:

as i've mentioned earlier, if only we take time to reconsider our posts before clicking that submit button. what's the rush? too often issues start because of irrational or emotional responses. we are totally and wholly responsible for our actions in the forum if we screw up. this is the best form of 'self-governance' if you ask me.

it's funny isn't it? as mature adults, we have developed over the years a sense of calm and ability to restrain in the heat of the moment. yet when we go online, this whole new world, we tend to behave like adolescents. why can't we bring this over when we post online? a flower doesn't change its fragrance to a foul one just because it sees someone it doesn't like.

unless, don't say lah, we behave like that both on and off-line.

as DP have always insisted he championed, post with honesty and integrity. (but whether he does so in actual fact...that's a wide open question). that's much better than...what.."Expo" type conventions lah, what tea parties at Bean-bucks.

actually i treat every section as its own, like gallery i post things that are more serious, straight to the point - every critique is how view i view it. in kopitiam, i'll joke, relaxing corner, then this part here, i'm trying to resolve the differences.

everyone is entitled to their views... i'm also a human, i have my rants too... i admit i do sound provoking in the kopitiam threads on him as jokes. he too have his rants there... so its more like a fair & square thing as long as we don't go overboard with personal insults.

overall i guess our goals are still the same... make CS a better place.

what do you mean uncalled for - that i can't make an opinion of my own? i did say i was giving my 2 cents worth along with my interpretation. true, in my past experience with DP and observations, i do have my doubts and reservations. that's why i cannot commit for sure 100% that he does what he says. but i did credit him for making the urge to post with honesty and intergrity.

i'll just put it down to a misunderstanding then. i had no intention whatsoever to pour cold water on you when i was making that post.
