A couple of points to note:
- Minimum post count concept will encourage more senseless posts which will indirectly increase the workload of the moderating team.
- Imposing such requirement will deter people from joining Clubsnap, especially those who would like to make use of Clubsnap's forum to sell their used items.
- Having a significant number of posts doesn't really tell much about one's integrity if he/she has yet to trade before.
1) As I said, if mods dereg those senseless posters, soon they will realised it is pointless and if it is pointless, no one will do it.
2) ?? it will only deter those who join Clubsnap only to use it for B&S. Is that a big loss to Clubsnap?
3) not really. I don't think it is coincidence that most of the complaint threads recently involves totally new members with close to zero post. Seriously, lets say if for example, Zaren offers to sell something, I would really trust that the condition is as what he says it is. I think there is a HUGE correlation between new members and bad traders. You almost NEVER hear something like this with senior members.
