Bad experience with seller - DIRTBIKER

Perhaps he only go to BnS and don't bother about anywhere else. Maybe I should post in his B&S thread to direct him over here so he can't miss it :P

Maybe if I had chosen to get a lens from him, he won't play me out? He was pushing me to buy the 20-35mm from him too, but I didn't want.

Right on! Intention of the post is to alert others, and share the info. If we have a "transcation feedback" section, we could commend on good sellers too!

Try crashing into his thread in BS and he might post one in feedback section to condemn you! :bsmilie:

I stand by what I have said, and the intent of the original post is to alert. Definitely, I feel that my experience was lacking in professionalism from his end. I do not intend to pursue, (since I lost nothing except for time, transportation costs, a few appointments, costs of SMSes and calls) because had I decided otherwise, I would have crashed into his thread in B&S with my story already.

There are inevitably a lot of buyers/sellers like that. I have a few in-mind which I've had bad encounters with in the last 6 months, but I won't name names.

Which is why sometimes after 1-2rounds if it doesn't sell in clubsnap, I take it straight to ebay. I actually find it easier to sell overseas sometimes, even with the high cost and hassle of packing.

As a seller, on at least 1-2 occasions I got so annoyed with local buyers that I just put it up on ebay and it went without fuss. I got less for it after cost than selling locally, but I also felt a lot less stress.
