Nice pic. The poor fellow seems to have had his ear clipped off.

I love cats. Unfortunately, of the 5 cats at home (back in India), one has gone missing for a week...my favorite cat too...very sad:cry::bheart:

Thank you.

He is a pretty old cat and kind of big size as compared to his mates.

Don't worry, your cat will be back when the time comes.

Good Luck. :D

love it! the grain is a tad too visible though, i think this would look great in bnw too :)

I think the ISO400 used and pushing up the sensitivity later on during the processing caused the grain.:dunno: Guess i mess up a bit.:embrass:

Truly Impressive Pixel Peeping. I'll be picking up my K20D this weekend. Recently had pictures from my K10D printed in high gloss at 300 dpi @ 8x12" : quality is very good. Can't wait to print from K20D.

Congrats on the new camera. I guess you have it already ;) It'll sure give you even big prints :D

It's really a sharp lens.:D

Great

K20D surely is K20D. No horse run. :D

Fengwei,

Great shots, sharp, nice and Jumboo is crunchy;p

Water drops is great too:thumbsup:

Wah, so much LBA poison from fengwei!!!
Pictures of the jambu is not good for you.

Fengwei,
Agreed, the amount of detail the K20D can render with a good lens attached is indeed amazing. The ability to crop heavily yet preserve the final size is a real benefit.

Thanks guys. The lens is indeed an excellent performer. I can see alot guys would love to have this one to replace their DA40, FA43 or even FA31. A DA21, DA35macro and DA70 combo would be a great trio imo.

That's a beautiful IR photo

I'll be having another IR converted K100D next week. Hopefully I'd have more time to test this one out :)

Got another shot I quite like today (K20D+DA35/2.8):

wow, the clarity of the image, and that snarl :)

beautiful la!

Nice cat and dog photos. Seems you've been having alot fun w/ the Sigma 70300 lens ;)

Thanks.:) I am trying to maximise my time b4 enlistment, also trying to improve.

Really enjoy the animal shooting. :)

Whoa, that cat looks angry!

Taken today while on my way to the Asian Civ Museum*.

From RAW, crop and PP.

* Everytime I finish an ACM trip, I am ready to put my camera down, sell my gear and walk away from it all. It seems to be a really difficult environment for shooting, with horrible lighting conditions, very high dynamic range (bright tungsten bulbs shining on specimens placed on black felt), and shadows, shadows, shadows! No flash or tripods allowed either. Either it's really a difficult environment, or I really suck at low light photography.

I took a few pics (RAW), mostly ISO 800 and 1100, haven't processed them yet...I dread the outcome.
