This is a great shot, though personally I would have cropped the image tighter to have the man centered in the frame. :thumbsup:

I must say the K20D handles this shot very well...

Thanks for the kind words.:)

I should clarify that the pic was PPed quite a bit (basically increased the contrast quite a bit apart from the WB modification) in Pentax PhotoLab. But, the K20D handled the original also quite well indeed.

Flowerpot, I processed the ACM images today, and it was not as bad as I hoped. Many of the shots came out nicely. Will post a few later. But I really need to learn how to shoot in high DR situations.

For museum shots, the FA31/1.8 would be ideal I think.:think:

Fengwei, absolutely fantastic color, sharpness and detail from the K20D + DA35 combo. What an astounding lens!

The 35mm has just jumped queue to number one of my never ending wanted list... :confused:

Absolutely. Now, I too need this lens. Ooooh LBA strikes!
Expensive addictions....:sweat:

Congrats, we both have something different to test with soon. The old one sold off.;):bsmilie:

Thanks. Haven't done much IR photo at all, hope this time I'd have some IR fun like you guys :)

Yeah, it's a very good lens. The focal length is excellent for general use too. Took this one at the market (K20D+DA35 @ F4.5, 1/6s):

Nice shots :thumbsup: Seems 500mm isn't enough in big field like SB :confused:

Thanks.. guess nothing is big enough when shooting wildlife. But anything higher the heatwave and air turbulence will kill the IQ...

1/6s :bigeyes::bigeyes::bigeyes: hand held ? :bigeyes::bigeyes:

1/6s hand held ?

With focal lengths lower than 40mm, hand held for low to medium distance subjects is not much of a problem upto about 1/6 secs. Even 1/4 secs is possible...as long as you have reasonably steady hands. ...done it quite a few times with my DA40. Pentax SR, especially on the K20D is really good:thumbsup:

trying out DA35 Macro Limited with K10D. No PP, just convert from RAW to JPEG and resize to upload.
