Well, luckily I still have her little brother (who seems not tired of taking photo yet ;)) to shoot at:

This are nice, I think it's the way you capture the kids face expressions. It's well captured. Thanks for sharing

I've tried this scene (the Marina cityscape) with all the WB settings on the K100D before, and I still find Tungsten a bit too blue, while everything else too yellow. Well lit areas (like the first one) turns out well with Tungsten, but the background buildings in the second one has a blue hue. But I guess I'll live with it.... and PP when it really matters. :)

Hi Gengh
Actually I kind of liked the effect of the blue building. The main focus was the library in the foreground and all the "ants" inside :bsmilie:. The colour thingy is great as long as you do not take people because the skin tone will be a giveaway!

wah..so your daughter has reached the "argh-dont take me" stage...my kid passed that stage last year..nowadays only rewards will entice him to pose for me...sigh....
But luckily you managed to take quite a treasure trove of wonderful images of your kids before this stage....:)

Very nice. Where did you capture these? Seems very fun. And you might wanna consider those weather sealed DA* lenses ;)

Army open house at Pasir Laba camp last sunday. It was an 'urban operation show'. It was incredible considering the whole show is in an area the size of a basketball court! 2 ah-64, 1 super puma, 1 M113 ultra, 2 jeeps. Kind of fun cause it happens right in front of u! AND it rained heavy but I know my K10D and F*300 4.5 can take it.

Is this the end portion of Punggol way? its one of my astronomy group's observation site and judging from the clear sky, it would have been wonderful at night! ;)

Yes I realised that too from some of my earlier shots. Unless they're under some rather yellow light. ;)

I was thinking of setting my manual WB to something between the temperatures of Tungsten and White light flourescent light and leaving it as my "low light" WB, but I've yet to get down to doing that yet.
