Thanks bro, nope from what I read for the Leica-R cron 90/2.0 only releases 3 version Series VII and E55 the disticntion between ver1 and ver 2 is ver 1 has only one section built in hood like of those Leica Elmarit 135 f2.8 design whislt the 2nd version is with 2-section built in hood similar to Leica-R Cron 50/2.0. Then the 3rd version is the ASPH-APO which was in production from 2000-2009 for the R-Mount. and cost like 5-7 times as the pre-asph cron-r version :-(

OIC... coz saw someone selling a cron 90/2.0 ASPH for 2k SGD here in BnS... Wondering how come so cheap? Haha

true bro this lens is not bad at all it's 40-50% cheaper than the cheapest Cron90/2.0 :-) but they render differently Canon tend to be in mild color and when shooting head-waist you need to step down a bit to f2.0 to get the sharpness you need. Cron 90/2 the colors pops and sharpness is great. I kinda regretted sold my FL 55/1.2 to a fellow NEX7 user :-( reason is coz of my cron 50/2

I got two copy of this Canon FL 85/1.8 one was bought from fellow Cser the other one was a gift from a friend in the US comes with full package like new the leather case, hood caps etc. sadly the leather case inside cushion sux the Japs uses foam for the top and bottom portion of the case and you know foam after a while it get crusty and start to fall off :-( very good lens bad packaging lolz.

Selling any of tat 2 copies soon? Haha

I saw even cheaper cron 90/2 M-Mount but it's 2nd version pre-asph selling for 1K I think can nego more.

But 90/2 ASPH R-Mount? price wise for R yeah thats consider cheap for M-Mount that's really cheap.

I see one there, but it's M, not R.

KEH has several copies of the non-APO for under US$1K. The APO version is, IMO, overpriced--perhaps because there weren't many copies of it made. Going by bro Albertri's shots, unless one is either printing big or cropping heavily the non-APO version looks plenty good.

The different versions, changes of process in some supposedly unchanged versions, omitted designations, etc. . . . all get confusing, which makes reading Erwin Puts and other resources necessary in order to make sound choices.

Strange discussing this in a NEX-7 thread. No longer having any Sony glass, I'm starting to feel as though I don't belong here any more! ;)

Oopz... I dun even own a NEX 7 now... Wat m I doing here???

Lolz im sure its not me hahaha

Sure not me, either . . . ;p

It's always good to have some folks who keep things lively!

Now I wonder if maybe CS needs a separate forum for mirrorless under Equipment Discussions. Most of the brands can take adapted lenses, so they don't really fit in the old "by brand name" structure.

Changing times, changing gear . . . gotta love it!:D

Agree bro there should be a thread for mirrorless this is a best way to intermingle with others.

So bro tntrue what's next after nex7 for you?

For my kind of shooting the NEX-7 is the best body available at the moment. Let's see if Sony will bring a FF mirrorless to the market.

Sony surely realizes that they opened up Pandora's Box with mirrorless. If they choose not to exploit the concept to its fullest, folks have the option of mounting their glass on another brand.

He has many legacy lenses like you. I guess a FF NEX will be a good option in 2013...

I thought you're going say we are legacy lolz. Yeah FF NEX would be good also to use with old lenses so must keep them until 2013 :-)

I just pray that all the existing issues wif NEX 7 will be cleared by the time they launch FF NEX. Also, ability to AF continuously with super fast tracking on subject will be great. Able to get clean images even at 12500 ISO will also be good... Haha.. Anything else wanan add?

So far im cool with nex7 i dont have issue with purple haze or color shift using my samyang FE so the issue may not be nex7 coz i read somewhere even leica has the same problem using cv15 and cv12.
