the color super nice!

alamak 40 photographers vs 1 model

Thanks bro.
Yeah very crowded on that day, some stayed the whole day.

I can see why so many birders would want to photograph this bird with a head of color like that.
Nice shot as usual, Ken

Thanks JK, other than the head, the wings have nice colors too. ;p

Ken, as usual a nice capture. You have shown us the many types of birds which many have never imagined can be seen in singapore. Keep up the good work .

Thanks, glad you like pics. :)

Long time haven't posted here, a recent shoot done with remote flash with K5.

Working through some older files, which never made it into images as my previous HDR program could not work out the highlights/shadows in the exposures.
Nik Effex HDR seems to work well.

Anybody know what bird is this? II saw it at the top of Bukit Timah Summit when I was with my school kids and vendors for a time out programme hiking trip.

Sometimes, the best camera is the one you have.
I happened to have the Q and fisheye with me when I cycled home from work and passed the Punggol/Seletar waterway with yesterday's golden sunset.

Thanks Desmond. I was very lucky to be that close to the bird. It was actually hiding but I walked over to about metres near it to take a few shots. The ones posted are when it came out of hiding.
