$20 la... I've been up twice... Only wanted to go up once... Then went back after seeing this recently. I went up and wanted to tear my hair out, there doesn't seem to be a way to actually link these views together without getting distortion from the glass (the portion of Skypark in front of the bridges which seems to be the vantage point is surrounded by glass, not the usual wires thingy). I tried contacting the guy earlier to find out how he did it but there was no response. Wonder if anyone here has any inkling?

So end up.. Do the same old nonsense again. :/ Luckily the light was better this time..

wow amazing pano. first time seeing a shot like this! have not been to skypark so i cant comment on the vantage point but looking through his album it seems like he had a room at mbs. is it possible that some rooms in mbs can take this view? not sure how the room view is like over there as well. hmm pure guessing over here. haven seen any singaporean photographers take shots like this before so it's probably not take from skypark?

trying to look through all his singapore photos to figure out his secret but cant find any other clue. hmm. damn he's good. i cant find any flaws in his stitch and that is at least a 12 image stitch.

It's a small file being linked, so it's possible that he cloned out reflections.

I don't think there are any rooms that afford a sweeping view like that. After I came down I was looking up and the sides of MBS won't give you that view!

My best guess is really that he was quite tall and managed to bypass the glass by placing his camera at the top. :dunno:

hmm i'm intrigued and i will find time to go up skypark soon to try and figure out the secret. no tripod allowed? your recent shot looks like it was handheld based on your exif.

I looked at some of the shots I have of MBS.
My guesses :

1. He walked around the Sky Garden, took all the shots, and managed to merge them into the pano. Had a tripod that could extend out too (or hand held)

2. It might be possible to take the view if he was staying at the outer most tower. Maybe from the side window on one of the levels even.
This is what I got from a room on the 42nd floor middle building. So the shot might be possible from the tower closest to the expressway.
But then the windows are so dirty....

#202 One rule I like to use in my photography are known as "The rule of third" Saw this amazing sunset at Lower Peirce Reservoir with vincent. The reflection are pretty interesting too . Decided to frame the sun and his reflection exactly at both intercept point . I name this photo as - The Double rule of third at Lower Peirce Reservoir
