4) This one if cosplay, I think she looks beautiful in Kawaii characters. She has the innocent look and v.photogenic.
IMGP1991.jpg

5) This girl actually has the dark/naughty looks coz of the sharp lips and nose. Which is Very photogenic. Can go for darker side Characters.

First attempt to shoot infrared with my K-x. The shots are taken with SMC 28mm f3.5 and Hoya R72. Shot settings : f/11, ISO 200, 20 seconds, 6 frames combined

IMGP1871infraredsqframe.jpg

There is bright spot in the middle of every frame, is that called hotspot?

After letting go my MIJ FA50/1.4 early this year, which later regretted. I chance upon the same lens in Japan recently which is also MIJ version. Bought it w/o hesitation.

Some shots taken at STGCC with this lens. AV mode, ISO400, f2.2

#1-1/100

Taken with LX and Chinon 50mm F1.4 @ F1.4

When framing this shot from OVF already shown that the bird is dark, in fact almost 100% black due to back lighting. Never compensate any Ev, just shoot at iso 80.
Using just simple Acdsee (not even CS) to bring out the mid tones. K5 @iso 80 is really good.

Three from another cosplay event (EOY 2010)

Reuploaded this as I was not happy with my original edit. Only realized some post processing errors after viewing on a better screen.
