Hi Marcus, are you shooting in Raw format? I am getting the similar vertical line at the right side too when I converting my Raw file into jpeg file using UFRaw. But it is fine if using the software provided from Pentax.

Thanks Ben.

it really looks like corrupted file.

what do you mean when you "post a bigger file"? noticed that you are hosting with flickr, do you mean that when you link the larger size files this happens, while it is not present with smaller size files?

I took in Jpeg and raw. Looks like after PP with picassa, from Jpeg, thats where the red/pinkish colors shown.

Ah so the culprit is Picasa. Already suspected that. Coz my viewer is picasa thus have this pinkish thing. But when go thru Photoshop, no pinking line at all.

Wow, some really nice photos on this page.
Kudos to Jin80s, oceanpriest, night86mare, kengoh, ricsal, otc and pentriot

Thanks Dennis.
On this page my pics are nice, but overall my pics aren't near to yours in term of creativity, composition etc. etc. :bsmilie:

Took this pic this morning before going to work.
Was rushing for time so couldn't wait for this uncle to leave the scene.

also to highlight, the kit lens II is a great, sharp lens when stopped down.

and it is one of the few lenses that have no hot spots - think the 16-45 has hot spots, i know the sigma 10-20 has hot spots.. not sure about many other pentax lenses, but this one's definitely good for ir:

(and, you can always stitch to get a "ultrawide perspective" - the second photo's a panorama made from 5 vertical shots - though 3 would probably suffice)

Hi, took a few sunrise shots at punggol this morning. Please bear with the shots... my first time trying out sunrise :)

Nice. I do think the uncle makes it different and has a comparison to scale.

On-camera HDR?
Care to share the settings?
Thanks

Nice HDR, not too overdone and it adds to the scene!

bro, the details on the JS face is gone. focus is out too, look like focus is on the front legs instead of on the face. despite that, the composition is good.
