Still luv my S5's CCD sensors...minimal adjustments required in PP to achieve the required effects.

S5 is especially good for portrait...good skin tone and nice saturation...and does not need to do much PP...

Will show you in my upcoming pix....me how liao... :bsmilie::bsmilie:

No offence, please

Luv to see your pix as well here...

Er..you're in SIN ?

I just can't get enought of shooting portraiture on this Sapa trip.
The cold weather, the mistiness of the surrounding coupled with the scent of romance in the air...
Whew... (hot!)... I simply let go with my humble portraiture lens...

limwhow #152
As we were all shooting the moths/butterfly, I turned my head to my left and saw one landing on Chubbykei's head...

Romance in the air?? Where?? Where?? How come lwhow feels butterflies in his tummy and I get a butterfly on my head?? NO FAIR!! :nono:

Come come come... Show show show...
Would really love to see.

Wah.. you also up so late not ZZZZ...

In fact I am still waiting for some of you guys and gals to upload the pix of the Flower Hmong at the Tac Ba Market...but you people are still stuck in the rain, mud and terraced fields...

HI Wee How, SereneXMM, Stevepow,Adrain
Wee How your shot and story teller of each photo look interesting to me, I think you can come out a book of this trip with all your super shot photo on it, really look nice.

SereneXMM your IR look great so as other shot, look amazing. Like watching some 3D effect.

Stevepow really power sian on your shot so, have a beer and have a good shot. Nice candy shot.

Adrain, I dont know this trip have model shot also. Well added in for SG Strekker and a trip that look like must go for me.

By the way, I don't think 2 8gb memory card for me is enough for this trip. Need to bring along my pocket hard disk.

Hope to see you all more on your shot and other trip. All the best to all.

Canon Kaki (Malacca, LimWHow & Serene; Stevepow Cambodia)
Welcome aboard, bro Wind 450D! Thank you for your compliment.:)

Nice group photo with expressive smile and eyes looking into the camera. What a steal !

Nice to have you back 'home'

Thanks! Always good to be home and sleep in one's own bed.
p/s : Will definitely try to post some pics. lwhow sent me a guide on "how-to-post-pics". Once I figure the steps out, I will try to post one pic. So look out!

i thought she would look even better with just a simple cloning off of the pimple in the forehead in between the eyes. just a suggestion based on aesthetic and without crossing too much into alteration of the face which some ppl are against. .

Thanks Zoossh.

This image not meant for glamour magazine, so I'd leave whatever "defects" on her face to depict the reality of hardship she has been going thru'.

T R A V E L O G U E ~ Day 5 - Finally, first evening at Sapa...

Pretty unforgettable, our first day at Sapa was... considering the rain, slippery muddy ground...
And between bruised buttocks (yours truly), abraded big toe hairs (his truly),
drenched shirts under stuffy ponchos (almost everyone), I would say we did pretty great as a group.
If I have never mentioned it while on the trip, I want to say it here - it was a great job, ladies and gentlemen!

Evening at Sapa

I have this terrible shot which I just wanted to share with all of us here, just to keep it in memory.
It's a scene that we would visit, and re-visit again and again.
This shot is terrible as it is under-exposed, unacceptably noisy from high ISO, poorly taken with non-aligned horizon...
And here it is, the side view of our memorable Sapa Global Hotel.

Who can forget we all sneekily take the short cut way into the hotel by going in and out this side door...
And also leaving the hotel through this side door just so to siam some of the Hmong ladies waiting to ambush us at the front...

Well, again unforgettably, we were all wiithout power in our rooms for a good few hours on the first day at Sapa.
Some of us were charging our camera batteries half way.
Some were downloading our pictures into the laptops.
Fortunately most of us have finished our shower with warm water from the heater.

According to Ms Trang the receptionist, these type of 'organised' black outs occur in blocks.
If our this block has been using too much power during a certain period of time, the power supply would be shut off for
a stipulate period of time. She reassured us that the power will be back by 9pm that evening.

So what did we do meanwhile at 6:30pm?
Dinner by Candlelight lor.
