yup. feedback because the material is light but not durable. The cloth material easily wear out and got holes after sometimes. The boots are light but not suitable for SOC because the cutting of the boot is not good, a bit rounded but crossing of some SOC stations are not safe.

I wore this boots for a few years in my army days, after field training my ankle got bruises which I dont know why. But when I change back the normal boots it is ok. Many of my soldiers got sprained ankles during that time too. Maybe the cloth materials are not suitable enough.
talk about no cutting? my combat boots have no more pattern on the underside. :bsmilie: I still manage to clear SOC <9:45

my combat boots during NSF days was the old old type...the surface is not smooth one, but rough with pattern like those crocodile skin.

I was given the old type because they run out of stock for size 290, so they give me size 300, which is too big for my feet actually

it was impossible to polish them until shine because of the rough surface. Worse thing is that, the old boots are heavy and hard, took me so long to get it seasoned.

Those are comfortable, we used to do 2.4km runs and play football with them, so used to it that weight does not matter. dun think i will have the chance to use the new ones...

about 200-300, if I keep using the LCD to preview, maybe lesser.
Got to buy the battery batt, $250 from cathay photo.

I tried to use 6 AA batteries, I took about 100+ and the battery flat. currently using 2 batteries and spare AA batteries for D200, actually good enough.

I roughly use one battery for half day shoot. therefore one day 2 batts.
