hahaha you try to wear for training first.... when I was in the army, some people got injury due to this goretex boots. I still prefer the old one for training. That goratex boot is only good admin or parade use, to my own experience
the new boots with gortex membrane is superb, the material allows for flexible feet movement without the excessive scratching from the old boots. i agree injuries can be caused by not tieing up firmly, and wrong sizing as well.
the goretex cloth boots are already phased out like 2 years ago. All that's left is the leftover stocks. I wanted to get a pair before I left army but my camp sold out those already.. they only have the leather/rubbery looking boots..

yup. feedback because the material is light but not durable. The cloth material easily wear out and got holes after sometimes. The boots are light but not suitable for SOC because the cutting of the boot is not good, a bit rounded but crossing of some SOC stations are not safe.
I wore this boots for a few years in my army days, after field training my ankle got bruises which I dont know why. But when I change back the normal boots it is ok. Many of my soldiers got sprained ankles during that time too. Maybe the cloth materials are not suitable enough.
