Email the file to me and I can print for you. I suggest about 150dpi min.

Thanks, what is the highest DPI can go?

This is the link of a zone plate photography site , is anyone also interested to try out? Think can make about 50 pcs in a A4 transparency.

Btw, the one I making is 45mm focal lenght, f-stop : f39.3

Hi people,

like to know if I have a file, need to use a laser printer to print it out on a transparency, like OHP transparency, is the a kind of printing shop where can I go to? roughly what the DPI they use?

Thanks

there are transparencies specially for laserjet and photocopier, think i have a pack somewhere

once u got those transparencies, u can just print it like paper using your laserjet machine....color or black & white also can...but for color photo, using inkjet will be better.

DO NOT USE those for OHP....i did it once and spoil the photocopier in my camp's OPS room

My LJ can go up to 1200dpi.

thanks, noted.
the transparency will cut in to small piece to use as "lens", and the "lens" (hole) is very small, so need machine can print very fine detail.

Vel, another secret recipe fresh off the stove ;p

that's where you're wrong ;p unlike stainless steel woks, these old aluminium wok traps a layer of grease that hardens around, which actually protects the food from absorbing the gas from the stove, check out all the hawkers who still use this type of wok and you'll see the same thing ;)

so how old is your layer of protective grease?
