yah i ever tried also they tell me cannot. but some ppl like him still using animated GIF leh.. I know there's another guy but cannot remember who already..

The maximum size of your custom image (avatar) is 80 by 80 pixels or 10.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

as catchlights mentioned maybe the limitation is the size of your animated gif that is causing the problem
