Asked so many questions, from last night to this morning, no one give direct answer. Sigh.
Maybe i just ask;
1. What is 'A' stands for on the camera dial?
2. How do I shoot Fireworks?
3. What is the settings for taking birds?

1. A can mean Aperture or Auto depend on your camera - do read the manual.

2. you need to find where got fireworks display, go early, use tripod, make sure wind don't blow at your direction, use ISO100, f8 - f11, 4 secs - 8 secs, or set to B mode use a black card, use wide angle lens, use cable release. if there is too much thick smoke pack your gears and go home don't waste time. try another night.

3. open wide - f2.8 - f4, use fast lens, 200mm set at 1/250, 400mm set at 1/500, 600mm set at 1/800, 1000mm never try before, for hand hold, pump up ISO

tried to shoot ducks while in tibet.. getting the focus while the birds are in flight is damned hard man. When you zoom in and the bird fills a portion of your VF you can track properly and guage where the bird might turn, etc.. zoom out and you get only a black spot on your VF.. :sweat: birding not my cup of tea..

set your focus mode to AF-C to track birds in flight

yah i did that.. my problem i faced is getting the bird into the AF square and keeping it there. :bsmilie:.

if they kept flying the same route and you can't get them, I suggest you try to shoot quetzalcoatlus first :bsmilie:
