Oh no, definitely not, I think the focusing and IQ are noticeably improved from the K-r and you do get what you pay for (of course, it's always exponential). And of course the quiet shutter is very amazing. :bsmilie: Earlier on I had agreed with the Fn button issue that I think flowerpot had raised - with the K-5 I don't think it will be an issue, the only thing I change with the Fn button is the ISO and timer, and there is a dedicated ISO button! If change to timer, I will be using manual focus (landscapes with ND filter usually)... So actually the K-5 resolves one issue that the K-r has (for me, anyways).
