Marcus, thanks for your tips. Yes, using an mf lens from f2 - f1.4 is always a hit and miss and you seem to be able to handle f1.4 better than me, so got to shoot with you someday.

Another one at f2, near MFD with the A 50f1.4, the left eye is on but the right eye is off.

Its challenging imho on getting the point of focus wide open at f1.4. Probably at f2. its easier. Anyway, most were shot at f1.4, trying out the takumar lens

Focusing screen is the original one from K5. Its like turning forward and backward to get the point of focus and its all agar-agaration:bsmilie:

This shot non PP, resize only.

Yes, many are out of focus as well.

Yes Donald, Macro shooter knows F11 to f16, the DOF is shallow, just a mere mm more for macro.

I think we should start a tread on K5 and cats as the subject so more cat lovers could post on this tread alone.

sorry if it have been asked before .... but anyone uses their k5 with microSDHC card ? Is there any noticeable performance (burst or video) .

kinda looking around for a good size tablet to bring around when shooting, problem is most of them comes with microSD although there is a couple springing out now with full size SD card ...

it crossed my mind before - i decided against it. no point cos i shoot raw and i like to view my pix on a big screen to do selection and PP.

if u just want to upload and share immediately, an eye-fi card might be a better solution.

I just use iPad with Apple Camera connection kit. Works fine with full size SD cards.
